Coaches Comments:
"Coaching the PeeWee girls Basketball team was a highlight for me this year. Their coachablilty and enthusiasm really are what sports is all about. By the end of the season every athlete on the team left believing they have the potential to become Senior basketball players. We had a successful season." |
Grades 3/4 Boys
Coach: Mrs. Bev Kraft
Accomplishments: Our practices were held Fridays at noon and there were 19 boys on the team! We played two games vs St. Vital, coming up short each time, but bringing the scores closer each time. Coach's Comments:
"The grade 3/4 boys had a great developmental year! With 18 boys out, it was so wonderful to see so many interested in the sport of basketball! We played two games throughout the season, both against St. Vital. We came up a little short each game, but throughout the game play, I saw the team improve leaps and bounds. We ended off the season with a wind-up supper at Boston Pizza! You boys should be so proud of your play and development this year and I hope you continue to play this amazing sport!" |

"We had a great season this year. We were able to have home and home series with Kindersley and North Battleford. We gained a lot of valuable experience and had memorable games throughout our season. Each player developed a lot throughout the season and I hope that next season we will be able to continue our improvements. To the sixes who will go on to Jr. Basketball. You have a great framework and skill set, keep improving and never stop learning about the game. To my returning and new grade 5's see you on the court." |
